Libraries around country taking part in Let’s Read Havel event

A nationwide event marking International Book Day on Thursday is honouring the late Czech writer and political leader Václav Havel. Scores of libraries are taking part in Let’s Read Havel, which is intended to highlight his literary and civic legacy and is being held as part of celebrations of the 90th anniversary of his birth. It has been organised by the Václav Havel Library and Czechia’s Association of Library and Information Professionals.
