Lehečka to face Sinner in Miami Open final
Czech tennis player Jiří Lehečka will face world number two Jannik Sinner of Italy in the Miami Open final on Sunday.
Lehečka reached the final after beating France’s Arthur Fils 6–2, 6–2 in the semi-finals on Friday. It will be their fourth meeting, with Lehečka having lost the previous three matches to Sinner without winning a set.Their most recent match came in the third round of last year’s French Open.
In Miami, Kateřina Siniaková will also play for the doubles title. Together with American partner Taylor Townsend, she defeated Gabriela Dabrowski of Canada and Brazil’s Luisa Stefani 4–6, 6–4, 10–3 and will face Italy’s Sara Errani and Jasmine Paolini in the final.
