Legendary cellist Yo-Yo Ma set to perform in Prague

Legendary U.S. cellist Yo-Yo Ma is set to perform at Prague Sounds festival in the Czech capital in early September. The concert of the world-renowned musician will take place on a floating stage on the Vltava River, right in the city centre.

Yo-Yo Ma, who is an 18-time Grammy Awards winner, will perform a series of six solo cello suites by Johan Sebastian Bach.

Prague Sounds is a special event marking the 25th anniversary of the Strings of Autumn festival, which is due to take place in October and November.
