Ledecká wins PGS snowboard event in Italy’s Cortina d’Ampezzo

Czech snowboarder Ester Ledecká won the parallel giant slalom World Cup event at Italy’s Cortina d’Ampezzo on Saturday evening. The Olympic winner claimed her fourth career PGS victory at the venue and her 20th victory in the World Cup.

Ledecka’s win came just two days after she finished second place in the parallel giant slalom event in Italy’s Carezza. The 26-year-old Czech, who splits her time between the FIS Snowboard and the FIS Alpine Ski World Cup tours, hadn’t raced on her snowboard in over one year.
