Last edition of Czech Playboy to hit the stands in June

The Czech version of Playboy magazine will publish its last edition in June of this year, after the magazine’s American owner failed to renew its license, the publishing company Playpress from the Prima group said in a press release. The first Czech issue of the popular men’s magazine was released in May 1991, shortly after the fall of communism. The last issue will be on newsstands from mid-June to the end of July 2025 and is being conceived as a special ‘best of’ edition showcasing the best of the magazine's domestic history.
