Large number of tests leading to slow-down in Covid tracing system
The large number of Covid-19 tests that are currently being sent from laboratories across the Czech Republic has led to a slight slow-down in relevant processing systems and could lead to the country’s coronavirus tracing system operating at a slower rate, the state’s Smart Quarantine operator announced on Wednesday. This could, for example, lower the speed at which people are informed that they came into contact with an infected individual.
On its Twitter page, the Smart Quarantine team asks for patience as it is working on optimising its systems.
