Kvitová into last four in Cincinnati

Petra Kvitová has reached the semi-finals of the Cincinnati Open. The 32-year-old two-time Wimbledon champion overcame Australia’s Ajla Tomljanovic 6-2 6-3 in the quarter-finals on Friday.

Kvitová, who is currently ranked 28th in the world, will now face the United States player Madison Keys for a place in the final of the WTA tournament.
