Krpálek wins judo Grand Prix gold in Linz

Czechia’s Lukáš Krpálek, the reigning Olympic champion in the men’s heavyweight, over 100 kg category, has won his fourth Grand Prix gold at the Grand Prix judo competition in Linz.

The victory comes only two weeks after he won silver at the World Championship in Doha, where he competed in the lower weight category.

The two-time Olympic champion, who is 32 years old, is the most successful judoka in the country’s history.
