Karolína Plíšková reaches second round at Australian Open

Karolína Plíšková has made it into the second round of tennis’s Australian Open after beating Jasmine Paolini of Italy 6-0 6-2. Other Czechs who advanced on Tuesday were Karolína Muchová, Barbora Krejčíková and tournament debutant Tomáš Macháč.

Marie Bouzková, Barbora Strýcová and Kristýna Plíšková failed to make it to round two of the first Grand Slam of 2021.
