Josef Dostál wins gold in 500m sprint canoe

Czech kayaker Josef Dostál won the world championship title in the men’s K1 500 at the 2022 ICF Canoe Sprint World Championships in Halifax, Canada, on Saturday. This is his fifth world title and the third from this event. A second medal for Czechia was won by canoeist Martin Fuksa, who achieved bronze in the men's C1 500.
