Up Ještěd in only shorts!

A group of hardy climbers set off to the top of Ještěd, the famous mountain outside Liberec, with very limited equipment: shorts, gloves and hats.

In temperatures slightly below freezing, they managed to reach their destination in approximately fifty minutes. The ‘To Ještěd in Shorts’ event is a continuation of the Jáchym z Hradec Memorial, which took place for the ninth time on Saturday at Liberec’s Forest Swimming Pool, where around two dozen participants broke holes into the frozen surface of the pool and spent several minutes in the icy water.
