Iva Bittová and Čikori acoustic music ensemble at Summer Film School

The queen of Czech avant-garde, violinist, singer and composer Iva Bittová performed at the Summer Film School in Uherské Hradiště together with the acoustic band Čikori.

Bittová’s style is not easily defined but perhaps one of the most accurate comments made about her is that she brings the human voice back to the natural world in a way that transcends barriers and touches audiences the world over.

The acoustic ensemble Čikori was founded in 1999. Their music is unique – a blend of jazz and world music with alternative elements that perfectly complements Bittová’s art.

Their concert at the Summer Film School was streamed on Czech Radio’s Vltava channel.
