Interest in new apartments in Prague on rise

Interest in new-build apartments in Prague has increased by 50 percent in the first half of this year compared to the second half of last year, according to an analysis published on Wednesday by three development companies. The developers attribute this spike in demand to the slowing of the inflation and interest rates and a gradual reduction in energy costs.

The price of new apartments is also stagnating. However, the developers say that the supply of new apartments is still insufficient to meet demand, which may drive prices up again in the future.
