Inflation in Czechia eases to 2.3% in September, lowest since April

Annual inflation in Czechia slowed to 2.3% in September from 2.5% in August, the Czech Statistics Office reported on Friday, confirming its preliminary estimate. It was the third consecutive month of easing and the lowest inflation rate since April.

Month on month, consumer prices fell by 0.6%. The biggest impact on the year-on-year increase came from housing costs, while electricity and gas prices declined compared with last year.
