Icy roads continue to cause traffic problems around Czechia

Icy roads continue to cause traffic problems and delays across Czechia. A heightened number of accidents are reported from all parts of the country with many bus connections, especially in the Central Bohemian region, delayed or cancelled.

Emergency wards in hospitals have been struggling to deal with a growing number of pedestrians, who slipped and injured themselves on the ice.

With rising temperatures, conditions are expected to improve during the day in most parts of Czechia, with the exception of Moravia and Silesia, where they are likely to prevail until Thursday.
