Hybrid car sales up 42 percent in first three quarters of year

Sales of new hybrid cars in Czechia rose by 42 percent year-on-year in the first three quarters of 2023 to nearly 30,000, according to data from the Car Importers Association released on Wednesday.

The number of plug-in hybrid cars sold went up by two-thirds compared to in the same period last year, while electric cars saw an increase in sales of 61 percent.
