Hungarian president on state visit to Czechia

Hungarian President Katalin Novák, who arrived in Prague on Friday, was received with military honours at Prague Castle by outgoing president Miloš Zeman.

The Hungarian head of state presented her Czech counterpart with the Hungarian Cross of Merit as "an expression of respect of the Hungarian nation".

Katalin Novák is also due to meet with Miloš Zeman’s successor Petr Pavel.
