Hertl scores two goals in NHL, Vladař earns his tenth win

Czech players continued to shine on Saturday night (ET) in the NHL. Czech forward Tomáš Hertl contributed two goals to the Vegas Golden Knights’ 4–3 win over San Jose and was named the first star of the game. Martin Nečas led Colorado’s 7–2 victory over Montreal with three assists; Jakub Dobeš was in goal for Montreal. Another goaltender, Daniel Vladař, helped Philadelphia to a 5–3 win over Eastern Conference leaders New Jersey with 29 saves.
