Heavy snowfall warning issued for Sunday

Meteorologists have warned of heavy snowfall on Sunday and the days to follow. More than half a metre of snow may fall in the eastern parts of the country over the weekend. Up to 15 centimeters of snow are expected to fall in the lower altitudes around the country, and up to 25 centimeters in the north-east in the Jeseníky and Beskydy mountains. Drivers have been warned about icy conditions and snow drifts.
