Heavy rains continue in parts of Czechia

Up to 130 millimeters of rainfall could fall on Sunday in the Jeseník area. In northern Moravia, particularly in the Jeseníky, Rychleby Mountains, and Králický Sněžník regions, heavy rain has been falling since the morning, with hourly totals reaching up to 25 millimeters in some places. This was reported by the Czech Hydrometeorological Institute (ČHMÚ). On the Černý Stream in the Jeseník area, water levels have already reached the highest, third flood activity level. The ČHMÚ also forecasts further heavy rainfall and rising water levels on Sunday and Monday in the Beskydy region.
