Health Ministry to tighten Covid-19 measures if situation in hospitals worsens
If the current Covid-19 situation in Czechia forces hospitals to admit only emergency patients, the government will have to adopt more severe measures to curb the spread of the virus, Health Minister Jan Blatný has said.
Speaking in a debate on CCN Prima News channel, Mr Blatný said the Czech Republic has not yet reached such a situation. He also said hospitals around the country still have some capacity, although very limited, and appealed on Czech citizens to follow the Covid-19 measure that are already in place.
