Health Ministry issues new travel regulation

The Ministry of Health has issued a new travel regulation according to which it will be necessary to undergo a test for Covid-19 before entering the Czech Republic only when returning from countries with a very high risk of infection ( i.e. those that fall into the "dark red" category).

People returning from countries with a high or medium risk of infection, can take a test in the Czech Republic on condition that they will not be using public transport. Upon arrival they will have to self-isolate and take a test within five days. The measure is effective as of Monday, April 5.

An earlier version of the measure which required everyone to take a test before entering the country was annulled earlier this week by the Prague City Court for being poorly justified.
