Health minister: Coronavirus tests could stop being free from September 1
Health Minister Adam Vojtěch said on Monday that he assumes preventative coronavirus tests will not be covered by public health insurance from September 1. Currently, publicly insured residents in Czech Republic have the right to four antigen and two PCR tests for free every month.
The government has agreed on ending free coronavirus test coverage, Mr Vojtěch said. However, tests requested by GPs and local hygienic stations will remain fully covered.
