Hana Moučková re-elected leader of Sokol

Hana Moučková has been re-elected head of the Czech Sokol Community and will lead the traditional gymnastics and sports organisation for another three years. It will be her fifth term at the helm.

Ms. Moučková won re-election at the 13th congress of Sokol at the organisation’s Tyrš House Headquarters in Prague.

Sokol was founded in 1862 and played an important role in the development of nationalism at the time of the Czech National Revival.
