Hairdressers and personal care services reopen
Hairdressers, barber shops and other personal care services which have been closed for six months opened on Monday under strict hygiene conditions. Both employees and clients must have negative antigen tests for Covid-19, no older than 3 days, or 7 days in case of PCR tests, and salons are spacing out bookings so that clients do not meet.
Higher grade primary school pupils and pre-schoolers in seven regions including Prague have been allowed to return to the classroom, with classes and distance learning alternating by the week. Galleries and museums have also opened in the seven districts which have under 100 new cases per 1,000 inhabitants. The much anticipated reopening of shops has been postponed by a week, until May 10.
