Guty wooden church replica opens to public after original was burned down by arsonists
The replica of a rare sixteenth century wooden church in the Silesian village of Guty has been completed and is now open to the public, nearly four years after the original was burned down by three arsonists. The new version was made to be indistinguishable from the original. The restoration team used traditional crafting methods and fir, spruce and oak wood to finish the CZK 33 million project.
