Greenpeace activists crash ČEZ general meeting

Greenpeace activists interrupted a general meeting of the energy company ČEZ for about 10 minutes in Prague on Monday. They were protesting against the extension of mining operations at the Bílina surface quarry in North Bohemia; ČEZ Group’s Severočeské doly has acquired the right to use the mine from the national mining authority until 2035.

One of the two activists held a sign saying End Fossil Crimes.
