Graffiti on Charles Bridge removed
The graffiti sprayed on Prague’s Charles Bridge last week has been removed, the spokeswoman for Prague’s Technical Road Administration Barbora Lišková announced on Monday. The location will now be checked by experts who will evaluate whether further restoration work is needed.
Work on removing the graffiti began on Saturday and was finished by the evening hours of the next day, Ms Lišková said.
On Saturday, a young man reported himself to the police as the author of the writings in blue graffiti on parts of the bridge’s walls, one statue and streetlight.
