GPs and vaccination centres start administering booster shots against Covid-19
GPs and vaccination centers have started administering booster shots against Covid-19. The vaccine will be available to all, but no sooner than eight months after the completion of the initial inoculation. Thousands of people are now eligible to get it. People will be alerted to the possibility via an sms message and will be able to get the shot at vaccination centers without needing to register. Those who are planning to get it from their GP have been advised to make an appointment, since most GPs have not yet received the Pfizer/BioNTech vaccine and are only administering Moderna. The Pfizer/BioNTec vaccine will be distributed to them in early October.
