Govt. still planning on Monday school reopening – if some conditions met
The government is still planning on a partial return of pupils and students to Czech schools from next Monday, the minister of health, Jan Blatný, told journalists. However, such a move is contingent on the distribution of antigen tests to schools and the passing of a new law on pandemics.
The minister of the interior Jan Hamáček, who heads the national coronavirus taskforce, said it would be hard to meet the March 1 deadline. He refused to speculate about what date school returns would actually happen.
The cabinet is set to discuss the matter again at a meeting later this week.
