Government gives people extra fortnight to get booster shot before vaccination certificate expires
Tens of thousands of people whose vaccination certificate was due to expire on February 1st have been given an extra fortnight to get a booster shot. The government approved the 14-day period of grace in an effort to get more people to get their booster shot.
According to an EU regulation vaccination certificates which are a green pass for travel and entry to restaurants and cultural institutions around the EU will only be valid for 9 months after completed primary vaccination.
