Government to discuss cost-savings implementation bill Wednesday
The Czech government will on Wednesday discuss a draft law that should put into practice a package aimed at consolidating the public finances, the Czech News Agency reported on Sunday.
The proposal, which amends more than 60 laws, contains measures that require legislative changes.
It does not include cuts in subsidies and reductions in state spending, which are expected to cover about half of the planned savings of CZK 150.7 billion over two years.
The package also includes an amendment to the Gambling Act which, among other things, clarifies the rules for the legal operation of online gambling.
