Government to debate possible easing of measures on Wednesday
The government will meet on Wednesday to debate the possible easing of restrictions in order for them to correspond to the fourth level of the counter-epidemic system PES.
Although the Covid data have corresponded to level four for four days now, the measures in place still correspond to level five, the highest level on the scale.
Deputy Prime Minister Karel Havlíček said on Sunday that the decision to ease the restrictions would depend on developments in the next few days and the situation in Czech hospitals.
On Tuesday the lower house of Parliament is to debate extending the state of emergency in the country which ends on January 22.
