Government approves 2022 draft state budget
The Czech government on Wednesday unanimously approved the draft state budget for 2022, Finance Minister Zbyněk Stanjura announced on Twitter. The draft budget envisages a deficit of CZK 280 billion, with revenues projected at CZK 1 613.2 and expenditures at CZK 1,893.2 billion. The budget must now be approved by the Chamber of Deputies, which is expected to discuss it in its first reading on February 18.
