Goalkeeper Barbora Votíková signs contract with Paris St. Germain

Czech women’s national football team goalkeeper  Barbora Votíková is set to transfer from Slavia Prague to French league champions Paris St. Germain, the Czech News Agency reported on Wednesday. The 24-year-old has signed a two-year contract until June 2023 and hopes to soon become the team’s starting goalkeeper.

Votíková, who played in Slavia Prague for six seasons, winning three domestic league titles, will become the first Czech woman to play in the French top flight football league.
