German leader Scholz to visit Prague next Monday

German Chancellor Olaf Scholz is due to make a one-day visit to Prague next Monday, August 29. It will be his first trip to the Czech capital since becoming Germany’s leader in December.

The visit was announced by Germany’s government office on Monday, with further details due to be announced at a later date.

Czech PM Petr Fiala was welcomed by Mr. Scholz in Berlin in May.
