Gas prices for households to fall

Prices of natural gas for households will fall by 7.4 pct on average as of October but there will be differences among individual regions. According to the Energy Regulation Office, the decrease is possible due to favourable developments of oil and gas prices on world markets and the appreciation of the Czech crown. After January 1, 2003, the Energy Regulation Office expects gas prices for households to remain flat or rise moderately depending on the situation on world markets in the second half of this year.
