Gallows appear in Prague protest against pandemic law

Opponents of a planned government amendment to the pandemic protested outside the Czech lower house in Prague on Tuesday. An estimated 1,500 people took part in the demonstration, which was organised by a group campaigning against government Covid restrictions.

The protesters, who say the pandemic law restricts their freedom, erected a number of wooden gallows by the Chamber of Deputies.
