Further easing of coronavirus restrictions as of Monday

Measures adopted to curb the spread of coronavirus have been further eased as of Monday, after the government lowered the nationwide risk-level from five to four within the Counter-Epidemic System [PES] on Friday.

The fourth level is the second-highest risk level on the scale and allows for the gradual return to school of all primary school children, enables a maximum of six people to meet and shifts the night curfew from 9pm to 11pm. Theatre performances and concerts can take place online and libraries can re-open to the public via dispensing windows. The number of people allowed at weddings and funerals has been raised from 15 to 20.

The majority of shops still remain closed and face-masks remain compulsory in all enclosed spaces and outdoor spaces where the required social distancing cannot be observed.
