Further easing of coronavirus restrictions on Monday
A further loosening of coronavirus restrictions is due to take effect in the Czech Republic on Monday, June 22. As of that date, the number of people permitted at public gatherings will be raised from 500 to 1,000.
Swimming pools, zoos, museums, galleries and castles will no longer be required to limit the number of visitors. Trade fairs with up to 5,000 people will also be allowed.
The requirement to wear face masks on public transport and other public places will end completely on July 1,with the exception of high-risk areas.
