Friday Covid-19 deaths figure revised to one-day record 176

The number of deaths with Covid-19 in the Czech Republic for Friday has been revised upward, as regularly happens, from 121 to 176, making it the worst day in this regard since the pandemic began. The total figure for deaths with the coronavirus has now reached 3,251, with the great majority of those deaths occurring in October.

Some 11,428 new cases were recorded Saturday for a total of 188,492 active cases. At present 7,676 are hospitalised with the virus, 1,137 in a critical condition.
