Four detainees in Motol corruption case have been remanded in custody

Five individuals accused in relation to public procurement at Motol University Hospital are still in custody. Four of them have been formally remanded by the European Public Prosecutor's Office, while the remaining detainees are set to be released, according to police statements this evening. The National Centre Against Organised Crime has reported that there are a total of 17 defendants in the corruption case.

Motol, Czechia's largest hospital, treats approximately a million patients each year, including in-patients and out-patients.
