Forty percent of over 70s vaccinated at least once

Forty percent of people in the Czech Republic over the age of 70 have received at least one vaccination against Covid-19, according to Ministry of Health data. The figure for the over 80s is 65 percent.

In total around 11 percent of the population have received at least one jab, while around 4.5 percent have received two.

To date 1.3 million people in the country of 10.7 million have signed up to get vaccinated via the state’s registration system. At present inoculation is available to the over 70s.
