Former Hungarian Central Banker warns against early euro adoption

A former governor of the Hungarian National Bank, Gyoergy Suranyi has warned countries of Central and Eastern Europe against adopting the single European currency too soon after joining the European Union. He said the subsequent forced decrease of inflation could hamper economic growth.
