Former Czech NATO envoy Landovský to oversee alliance commitments agenda

Former Czech ambassador to NATO, Jakub Landovský, is to become the government’s special envoy for meeting the country’s commitments to the alliance, Prime Minister Andrej Babiš said in an interview on TV Nova.

“He is someone who understands the matter and has experience at the Defence Ministry. I want to make clear how important this is for us,” Mr. Babiš said.

Landovský served as the Czech Republic’s representative to NATO from 2019 to 2024.
