Foreign tourists spent one-third more than Czechs in 2024

Visitors from abroad spent about one-third more in Czechia last year than domestic tourists, according to data released by CzechTourism. Foreigners spent a total of CZK 230.75 billion, compared to CZK 170.25 billion spent by Czechs, the report says. In Prague alone, foreign visitors spent around CZK 93.8 billion.

Foreign tourists spent the most in Prague, while domestic travellers spent the most in the South Moravian Region. The findings come from the agency’s first in-depth analysis using both traditional data and mobile operator records.
