Foreign Ministry closely following worsening of COVID-19 situation in Bulgaria, Lidovky.cz writes

The Czech Republic could soon switch its travel designation for Bulgaria to medium-risk for COVID-19, news site Lidovky.cz wrote on Sunday, citing an interview with Foreign Minister Tomáš Petříček. The country is currently listed as low-risk by the Czech Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but has lately seen a sharp increase in positive COVID-19 cases.

Earlier this weekend the Czech Health Ministry changed its classification for Serbia and Montenegro to high-risk for the same reasons. Asked by news site Seznam.cz, Health Minister Adam Vojtěch said the number of Czechs returning from holidays abroad and subsequently testing positive for coronavirus is only in the single digit numbers.
