Foreign Minister Macinka on working visit to Israel
Czech Foreign Minister Petr Macinka is on a two-day working visit to Israel, accompanied by a delegation of more than 30 representatives of Czech companies. Around a third of the firms in the business delegation are from the defence industry, while the minister has also highlighted the healthcare sector as a key area for expanding bilateral cooperation.
The delegation includes representatives of carmaker Škoda Auto, Czech firearms manufacturer Česká zbrojovka, part of the Colt CZ Group, defence companies STV Group and Excalibur Army of the CSG group, as well as 3D printer maker Prusa Research.
During the visit, Minister Macinka is scheduled to meet his Israeli counterpart, Gideon Saar, hold talks with other Israeli officials, attend the Czech-Israeli Business Forum in Tel Aviv, and sign a joint declaration with the Israeli foreign minister.
