Foreign minister: CR stands with Ukraine over national integrity

The Czech minister of foreign affairs, Jan Lipavský, says that the Czech Republic stands with Ukraine and its efforts to preserve its national integrity and sovereignty.

Mr. Lipavský made the statement on Twitter after a “good call” with his Ukrainian counterpart, Dmytro Kubela, during which the pair discussed the situation on Ukraine’s borders with Russia, the ongoing occupation of Crime and Czech support for Ukraine.

The Ukrainian news site Ukrajinska pravda reported that the two had discussed joint steps that could deter Russia from further aggression in what was their first phone conversation.
