Football: Czechs draw with Wales 2:2 in World Cup qualifier

In Friday evening’s home World Cup qualifier game against Wales, the Czech National Football team only managed a 2:2 draw.

Aaron Ramsey put Wales in the lead in the 36 minute, but Czech Republic’s Jakub Pešek managed to equalise just two minutes later. The Czech team went into the lead after an own goal from goalkeeper Danny Ward in the 49 minute, but Daniel James scored another goal for Wales 20 minutes later.

While the result keeps the Czech Republic in second place in group E on goal difference{behind Belgium with Wales in third place}, the Czech team has only two games left to play in the qualifiers while Wales has three.
